This is a simple idea. Have some sensors and cameras foresee the bumps and pit holes in the road, say those coming up in a second or so and relay this information to the control box. The control box in turn retracts or extends the shock absorber just by the amount required so that the shock absorber does not react to the bump, rather just glides over the obstacle.
